We had a very successful visit with Friends of Black Bayou last week. FOBB offered to be our fiscal agent until we get our own 501(c)(3) status. This is hugely helpful! It means that as soon as we get the details worked out, LMN-NE memberships and donations will be tax deductible.
Thank you, FOBB, for what promises to be a great partnership.
We also formed a committee to develop our Master Naturalists curriculum. Our next meeting is scheduled (see sidebar). I will get the curriculum committee together so that we can make a report at that meeting.
