ULM Museum of Natural History is an educational resource, not only for Master Naturalists but also for the entire region. It is managed by the ULM Biology faculty. Renovations currently underway will create a meeting space for organizations like LMN-NE, and future plans include the opportunity for Master Naturalists to serve as museum docents for our service requirement.

Friends of Black Bayou National Wildlife Refuge is a partner organization of Louisiana Master Naturalists – Northeast. We meet at the Visitor Center at the refuge, participate in their annual Fall Celebration, and are always open to additional opportunities to collaborate.

Ouachita Green conducts a variety of re-cycling and clean-up events throughout the year. Helping at these events is a great way for LMN-NE members to generate their volunteer hours.

Louisiana Master Naturalist Association is our parent organization. Three of our members are representatives to the LMNA Board. We will host the annual statewide meeting called “Rendezvous” in 2024.
